Who we are
3Dreams Studio is a 3D printing studio in Fall River, Massachusetts. For anything about your data, write to 3dreamsstudio.contact@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why
What you type into the forms on this site, for the purpose of each form, and how the site is used:
- An order: your name, email, phone (optional; we use it if there is a problem with delivery, and it also lets you look up your order), the delivery address when the order is shipped, your note to the studio, the pieces you chose and how you want to pay. We use them to make and deliver the order, take the payment and talk to you about it.
- A custom quote request: your description, the files you attach, the options you pick (material, color, quantity, size, deadline and budget), your name and email. We use them to prepare the quote and answer you.
- A message through the contact form: your name, email, subject and message, to answer you.
- The newsletter: your email, when you sign up in the footer or check the box at checkout, to send you studio news.
- Order tracking: the order number and the email or phone you type are used only to find that order.
- How the site is used: through Google Analytics, the pages viewed, how you got here (a search or a link), the kind of device and browser, your approximate location (city or region), the pieces added to the cart and, for each order, its number, pieces and amount. Never your name, email, phone or address. We use it to see what works on the site.
Payments
No card details pass through this site. A payment by PayPal or card goes through PayPal, which handles it under its own privacy policy. Zelle and Venmo payments are sent from your own app, and payment at pickup is made in person. We keep the method you chose, whether the payment was confirmed and, for a PayPal payment, the PayPal transaction number and amount.
Who else handles your data
A few services keep the site running or measure its visits. Each one gets only what its job needs:
- Supabase stores the orders, the messages, the quote files and the newsletter sign-ups. Only the studio can read them. It also serves the product photos and, like any server, receives the technical data of those requests.
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, it receives the technical data of each visit, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver the pages.
- PayPal processes the payments made in its window.
- Zippopotam.us looks up your ZIP code at checkout, to fill in the city and state. Of what you type, only the ZIP code is sent.
- jsDelivr delivers one of the code libraries the site loads, and receives the technical data of that request, like any web server.
- Google runs Google Analytics, which counts the visits and shows us which pages are viewed and what is bought. It receives the technical data of each visit, such as the browser, the device and the pages viewed, and handles it under its own privacy policy. Google offers a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off on every site.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses Google Analytics, which keeps its own cookies (their names start with _ga) to count visits and tell a returning visitor from a new one. Its advertising features are turned off here, and the site uses no advertising pixels.
It keeps a few things in your own browser (local storage) so they are there when you come back: your cart, your favorites, the pieces you viewed recently, your language, whether you closed the notice at the top, and the orders placed from this device with the details you typed. They stay on your device, and you can erase them by clearing the data of this site in your browser.
If you choose to pay with PayPal, the order page loads PayPal's payment button, and from then on PayPal's own rules apply, cookies included.
Newsletter
We use your email only to send you studio news. To stop receiving it, write to 3dreamsstudio.contact@gmail.com and we take you off the list.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, for a correction, or for its deletion, by writing to 3dreamsstudio.contact@gmail.com. We answer by email.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child sent us personal data, write to us and we delete it.
Changes to this page
The date at the top is when the text of this page was last revised. The notes from the studio, when there are any, can change without changing that date.
